One of his many projects includes some concrete vases. In this project Sergey Makhno mixes glass and concrete beautifully.

Concrete Interiors

Aboday is an Indonesian desgin and interior agency.
Their modern home interior is created with concrete elements and plain-colour palette to provide a homogeneous environment in an open house.
There is even an inner slide connecting two levels. And a fishpond. Amazing.

 Aboday's philosophy is to create specific buildings that harmoniously connected to their context and function.

Transparent House - Decorative Concrete floors

Something a bit more girly this time. Eye catching and feminine flowering patterns used as design elements on this floor by Transparent House designers.

Concrete floors allow a wide selection of colours and shapes and they're very easy to maintain. Among the advantages it is noted certainly many times that it is highly recommended for those with allergies. This durable and cost effective option shouldn't be grey and boring any more.

Transparent House description mentions that "the design concept allows for application of any pattern to the surface either when pouring or afterwards when the concrete has set."

Shmuel Linski - Concrete Coffe Machine

Once in the 1980s we had a coffee maker at home. It exploded and sprayed the walls with boiling water. Guess this will never happen with this designer piece ever.

Engineering and Design Student Shmuel Linski created this amazing concrete coffee maker at Shenkar College, Israel.

Espresso Solo is a new approach towards kitchen design and deliberately chooses a robust, heavy and hard material to transform it into a decorative piece. He says in this interview that he wanted to use an unexpected material so instead of choosing plastic or nickel he went for looking more cement.

And what are the extra advantages of the idea? Concrete is cheap, easy to handle and the process from molding until the final product is fairly quick.

Amazing piece of interior design and...you'll think twice where to place it in the kitchen.  it won't be the lightest piece to fiddle around with.
